Translation for Earlier Creole Message for Tori...

Now that Tori is finally back in America, she had a chance to catch up on her e-mails and blogs last night. She left her translation in a comment on the "An Attempt at Creole for Tori" post dated 2/2/08. Tori - since you had the dictionary with you, I got these on an online dictionary. It might not be exactly how they would say things there (you found that out on this trip) but they are how it's found in that English/Creole dictionary. :)

Genyen amizan jodi! (Have fun today!) Rete deyo d problem! (Stay out of trouble!) Pran ou lakay-travay fini! (Get your homework finished!) Bon a Aaron! ([be] nice to Aaron!) Ak Nate! (And Nate!) Brenda make ou! (Brenda missed you!) Mwen fe tou! (I do too!)

Have a wonderful day!!
D
